2010 |
The first snow of the season
overnight on the mountains. Today started
off cloudy but ended up clear with some blue
skies giving us some fine views of the
snow-topped mountains. The winter sports
season is of course still a way off, but it is
always good to see that first sprinkling of
snow. |

It's getting colder! Snow
is likely sometime in the next few days but

15th October 2010 |
The autumn colours are now
looking good on the mountain at 1400m and above
and slowly making their way down. Here are some
recent photos to give you an idea of the scenery
on view....

23rd September 2010 |
Since the last
reports, temperatures have really dropped down
and we are now most definitely into autumn
season. Temperatures are now under 20
degrees many days and getting almost chilly
during some evenings. A lovely time to be
in the area and from now the spectacular autumn
colours should be starting to appear. We
should be seeing some fine weather conditions
over the weekend.

10th September 2010 |
Things are beginning to feel more
like autumn now in the region. The
prospect of a typhoon coming over the region
cooled things down mid-week and it is warmer
today but still the heat seems to have calmed
down. It may get warmer over the weekend
once again but come next week we can expect
cooler temperatures in the valley, down to
village level. In the coming weeks and
months of course the scenery will be
transforming into spectacular autumn colours.

Just a quick update this week as
the weather continues to be hot and it still
feels like summer.... and more sun and hot
temperatures forecast for the coming week.
Autumn shouldn't be too far off!
