29th August |
We are still in August, but the
first signs and feel of autumn are in the air.
Temperatures and humidity in
the region are now gradually decreasing and the colours on the mountains are changing as the
autumn flowers begin to appear.
Look for temperatures to get
more comfortable in the coming weeks.

1st August |
Summer season is in full swing
now with hot temperatures, but mixed weather
over the last week or so. Fine sunny
weather is forecast for the coming week along
with hot temperatures -- though much more
comfortable than in the city of course!
Go up into the mountains for the cooler
temperatures. Many of
the summer flowers are now blooming in the park,
and below are a selection of photos taken on 1st
August.

18th July |
Rainy season continues in the
region with a fair amount of rain falling this
week. Things are looking good for fairer -
and hot - weather over the long weekend and next
week. |

14th July |
There are plenty of flowers our
in full bloom now in the park with many
different colors making for a fine view close up
as well in the distance. There are now
only a few pockets of snow remaining higher up
and the pathways around the park are all now
totally free of surrounding snow.
Today is fine and tomorrow also
looks set to be generally fine weather (with a
fair bit of cloud) but we still have more rain
lined up for the coming week... but it won't be
long now until the clearer summer skies are with
us.

4th July |
Summer is almost with us!
The snow continues to fast disappear up high in
the mountains and in the Park guests are now
able to walk around the complete course and be
treated to magnificent views such as the ones
below. It looks like we
are set for fine weather for most of the coming
week as well as temperatures rising to near 30
degrees in the village.

20th June |
Good weather over the last week
has meant that the snow continues to melt at a
fast pace with more of the Park opening up and
flowers and plants appearing. The views up
there are fantastic. It is looking likely
that there will be some rainy days over the next
week as the rainy season approaches.

13th June |
The snow is melting later than in
an average year in the mountains. There is
currently still 60-70cm of snow up there even
with the warmer temperatures in the region these
last few weeks.
This morning the sun is out early
on and we have good weather forecast for the
coming week.

|
6th June |
There is still a fair amount of
snow on the upper mountains but the melting
continues in the region with more areas becoming
available for walking and more and more flowers
appearing. The last week
or so has been relatively cool as the rainy
season and then summer months approach.
The forecast is for warmer temperatures next
week along with cloud and rain at times.
