of the ski resort season in the region, with
Tsugaike Kogen open until Tuesday 6th May.
We are now entering the main part of Golden Week
and good weather is forecast. Expect this
last chance to ski and snowboard to be a popular
choice this weekend for quite a lot of people
visiting the area.

resorts of Otari proved to be a popular
destination. Snow is forecast for this

Good
conditions for early January
There were some great conditions
at resorts in Otari just after the new year,
when we had some truly huge snowfalls.
Below are some photos taken from the Norikura
Onsen resort, just after new year. As you
can see from the photos, there was a fair bit of
blue sky after the heavy snowfalls of new year,
and some fantastic scenery on show. You
might also notice that the slopes are not
crowded as well - perfect conditions to be out
there!
